Fallujah: Make or Break, Iraq Offensive Led by Shiite Militia

Has the tide turned for IS group militants in Iraq and Syria? The so-called caliphate is currently under pressure from Iraqi forces in the Sunni stronghold of Fallujah, but a Shiite militia is leading the offensive. How will that go down with locals who have long felt neglected by Baghdad? And in Syria, a mix of Kurds and Arabs are making gains toward Raqqa, partly thanks to US backing. Can Washington make a discreet exit from Syria or are US forces now in it for the long haul?
