European External Action Service Secretary General

The fighting in Ukraine proves that Europe has not seen the end of major war. Since February 24, 2022, when Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the United States and Europe have faced a new challenge: how to respond to major conflict and aggression on the European continent. At the same time, the challenge of China has spurred the United States and the European Union to cooperate more closely. In the process, Washington and Brussels have strengthened their engagement and consultations on the Indo-Pacific. Please join 91ÆÞÓÑ Senior Fellow Peter Rough as he welcomes the Secretary-General of the European External Action Service, Stefano Sannino, for a discussion on these and other matters.
