Russia’s invasion of Ukraine presents the greatest security crisis to the transatlantic community in more than 70 years. Now all can see President Vladimir Putin’s imperial designs, which have awaken NATO. Lithuania has been at the forefront of standing up to Russia’s aggression and has been a leader inside NATO during this time of crisis. As the alliance prepares for its next summit, which Lithuania will host in 2023, and as the alliance continues to support Ukraine with its right to self-defense, the view from Vilnius is more important than ever. Please join the 91ÆÞÓÑ Institute as it welcomes Viktorija ÄŒmilytÄ—-Nielsen, the speaker of the Seimas (Lithuania’s parliament), to discuss Ukraine, Russia’s imperialism, the future of NATO, and much more.
