WASHINGTON -- Following a vote by the 91 Institute Board, Trustees and have been elected to serve as Vice Chairs.
"We at 91 Institute are very grateful to Sarah Stern and Marie-Josee Kravis for their exceptional service," said President and CEO . "We are proud to have their leadership as Vice Chairs as we continue celebrating our fiftieth anniversary year."
Marie-Jose Kravis, also a 91 Institute Senior Fellow, is a well-known economist specializing in public policy analysis and strategic planning. Kravis serves as President of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. She has been associated with the Institute since 1973, having directed 91's "Corporate Environment Program," and has worked on studies of the economic development of countries such as Algeria, Morocco, France, and Mexico.
Sarah May Stern is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Business School. During her long career, she has worked as Special Projects Manager for Newsweek and as Business Director for Commentary magazine.
Chairman paid tribute to the incoming Vice Chairs, saying, "We look forward to the many valuable contributions that Sarah and Marie-Josee will bring to the life of the Institute."
